Committees

The Buildings Committee oversees the maintenance and upkeep of the bath house, storage shed, plumbing, and outdoor furniture.

COMMUNICATIONS | Mignon Tucker

The Communications Committee facilitates member communication, manages the website, and oversees rain-out text updates.

FINANCE | Will Clarke

The Finance Committee oversees the club's budget, dues increases, insurance premiums, and revenue from special projects, such as film location rental.

GROUNDS | Charley Foley

The Grounds Committee maintains the property including the floating docks, fences, landscaping, trees, and parking area.

MEMBERSHIP | Nancy Jordan, Karen Wise

The Membership Committee oversees application and admission, orientation, and policies and issues.

NOMINATING | Jody Branch

This committee identifies interested members for board and committee positions.

PERSONNEL | Dave Menges

The Personnel Committee hires and oversees the Pool Manager and Lifeguards.

PLANNING | Chris Andrews

The Planning Committee considers changes to Quarry policies regarding bylaws, facilities, organizational structure, dues structure, conflict of interests, as well as establishing a long range vision plan and goals.

RULES & SEASON SCHEDULE |

The Rules and Season Schedule Committee establishes the schedule for each season.

SAFETY |

This committee manages safety issues such as members breaking rules, behavior issues reported to lifeguards, and any dangerous situations.

SPECIAL PROJECTS | Sandy Bond

The Quarry's liaison to City of Richmond for zoning or permit issues.
